Poďakovanie pacientky z Juhoafrickej republiky

V auguste 2024 sme vykonali mini invazívnu korekciu vbočeného palca u pacientky z Juhoafrickej republiky. Zaujalo ju vykonanie operácie mini invazívne a súčasne nenašla iné európske pracovisko, kde by jej urobili operáciu aj v lokálnej anestézii a s použitím vstrebateľných skrutiek. Po predošlej online konzultácii sme naplánovali operačný termín u nás v Českej republike.

"I underwent bunion surgery (left foot) under the care of Dr. Holinka due to advanced deformity and severe pain. 
As I reside abroad the consultation took place online, which included preparation for the procedure. The surgery itself was painless (local numbing), and was conducted with the utmost professionalism. The doctor provided comprehensive explanations throughout the process, and his healthcare staff were exceptionally friendly. The recovery period was significantly shorter than with traditional invasive procedures. The first 3 days were bed rest, followed by 14 days of using crutches, and then 6 weeks in a medical boot. After 3 months, I was able to run 8 kilometers. Now, not even after a year, I am preparing for a half-marathon. I am very satisfied with the results and plan to undergo a corrective procedure on my other foot next year.
